On August 11, the Taihu New City Economic Development Bureau met with the District Environmental Protection Bureau and the Taihu New City Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau to interview 29 responsible persons of the unplanned water jet loom, informing them that the water jet loom will be rectified and the owners would be undocumented. The water jet loom will be completely dismantled, otherwise joint enforcement actions will be taken. As of August 15, more than 1,060 water jet looms in Taihu New City were demolished.
